Is the villa on the beach?
No, the villa is ocean front on a rocky shoreline and it has a private access to Yalku Lagoon.
Can I get into the water to swim or snorkel?
Yes, the villa has a direct access to the lagoon where you can swim and snorkel.
I know there is an entrance fee to go into the lagoon, do I need to pay it daily?
No, you can go into the lagoon directly from your villa, without paying any fee.
Does the villa provide snorkel gear?
No, but you can rent it in any of the local dive shops.
Is there maid service?
Yes, the service is provided everyday, but Sundays.
What about drinking water?
Never drink water direct from the faucet. Bottled water is provided and replaced to cover your needs.
Where is the closest beach?
Half Moon Bay is about a 5 minute walk; Akumal Bay is located at 1.5 miles from the villa.
Is there any restaurant nearby?
Yes, the Italian restaurant Que Onda is just in front of the villa, and La Lunita is also very close. You can see here the complete list of restaurants in Akumal.
