The beach is almost always deserted, just for your enjoyment, even in high season. Nonetheless this beach is slightly rocky, with beach shoes you and your family can go inside the sea without any risk to swim and snorkel.

With 2 bedrooms and a detached guest house with kitchen and bathroom, this Akumal villa can accommodate up to 6 guests.

In Casa Las Hamacas you will love the lush gardens which give a relaxing atmosphere plenty of refreshing shades. Snorkeling in South Akumal Bay is quite an adventure, with the reef, plethoric of life, few yards away from the beach. Between June and November, the nesting season, in this Akumal villa you will be able to see giant sea turtles just in front of your house digging nests and laying their eggs. From August you can either see the baby turtles hatching into the sea.
