the other hand, Akumal Bay is at a short walking distance.

Yes, but only in calm days.

No, but you can rent it in any of the local dive shops .
Is there maid service?
Yes, the service is provided everyday, but Sundays.
What about drinking water?
Never drink water direct from the faucet. Bottled water is provided and replaced to cover your needs.
